The Bakhita Team continued their awareness campaign at the local market, with Sr. Clara Azubuike, Temiloluwa Fabayo, and Sr. Gertrude Elelegu taking turns to deliver the message in both Yoruba and English. This approach ensured that the information reached a wide audience, including Yoruba-speaking men and women. The team clearly explained the concept of human trafficking, warning against the dangers of sending children abroad with promises of financial support that often turn out to be deceitful. They emphasized that such situations can lead to exploitation and force children into prostitution. The team advised parents to prioritize keeping their children safe at home and supporting them within their means, rather than risking their safety abroad.
